Title : VP Emiratization & Talent Development

Location : Abu Dhabi, UAE

Reporting to : Chief Human Resources Officer

This is a UAE-based search - expats cannot be considered.

About : Well-known Abu Dhabi-based businesses are seeking a strategic and dynamic VP of Emiratization & Talent Development. The role is crucial in supporting the organization’s long-term people strategy with a focus on nationalization, leadership pipeline development, and succession planning. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead impactful HR initiatives aligned with corporate goals and national workforce development policies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Leadership :

Develop and implement talent development and Emiratization strategies aligned with corporate vision and UAE national objectives.

  • Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders in building workforce capabilities and career development pathways.
  • Lead cross-functional HR initiatives and advise departments to improve employee engagement and organizational performance.
  • Drive cultural initiatives fostering a learning, empowered, and inclusive workplace.
  • Learning & Development :
  • Oversee the implementation of a comprehensive performance management strategy.

  • Create and manage leadership development programs.
  • Identify and nurture high-potential talent through succession planning and talent management frameworks.
  • Promote career development and professional growth for employees.
  • Emiratization :
  • Champion the Emiratization program, ensuring alignment with regulatory and strategic goals.

  • Design attraction and retention strategies to build a pipeline of UAE National talent.
  • Integrate Emirati professionals into core functions through structured programs and initiatives.
  • HR Operational Support :
  • Recommend improvements to HR processes and policies.

  • Monitor HR metrics and provide strategic insights.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Mandatory Requirements :

  • This is a UAE-based search - expats cannot be considered.
  • 12-15 years of experience in Talent Development / Human Resources.
  • Strong experience with UAE National hiring.
  • Bachelor’s degree minimum qualification.
