Manages a team of external company security Colleague to include their daily attendance, grooming, coaching, appraisals and personal development plans
Compiles duty schedules for their area on a monthly basis ensuring that annual leave plans support operational readiness and ensure sufficient time off to Colleagues
Plan, book and deliver on and off job training as required to ensure best possible service standards as well as Security Colleague development
Openly communicate appropriate and useful information through various channels to include department meetings and briefings
Motivate Colleagues through the effective implementation of incentive and recognition and rewards programs
Ensure departmental policies, procedures and performance standards are being implemented and maintained throughout their area
Review departmental policies, procedures and performance standards to ensure these are up to date, correct and propose changes as appropriate to ensure high levels of customer service
Ensure any service delivery defects are resolved and identify any trends and share observations and suggestions with their manager
Review satisfaction results for their areas and identify any trends and share observations and suggestions with their manager
Review accuracy of any checklists and records completed in their area and analyze

Participate in daily operations alongside their Colleagues setting a positive example
Foster a harmonious atmosphere among Colleagues in their area and brings team members together through team activities
Respond to Security breaches, incidents and emergencies, taking necessary corrective actions and ensure incidents are investigated, recorded and reported to the Line Manager
Monitor and manage the standards of customer service offered by security Colleagues to ensure that guest expectations are met and exceed using the company policies and procedure
Handle all guest complain with effect & immediate on the spot solution to meeting the company standards
Ensure that any criminal activity does not hamper the smooth functioning of the organization
Ensure Security Colleague, are scheduled for breaks and / or rotations are fair in order to increase productivity and maintain Colleague’s well-being
Organizing zonal evacuation drill exercise in Leisure Facility and creating reports from the drill ensuring the improvement prospective (YWW specific)
Monitoring overall security systems performance (. CCTV, FACP, Access Control, Locker system and and reporting any irregularities
Running overall security operation on daily basis
Liaising with the authorities (Police & Civil Defense, to ensure regular communications, updates and strong relationship in place
Interviewing Security Colleagues prior to be assigned in the Leisure Facility from security service provider
Coordinating with security service provider operation management related to Leisure Facility department operational requirement
To enforce and adhere to all UAE laws, Health, Safety & Environmental policies, industry and company rules and regulations, reporting any safety concerns or incidents to management in order to minimize risk and maintain a clean safe and hygienic environment for all Guests and Colleagues
To manage emergency situations that may arise in order to minimize possible damage, loss or injury to any Guests, Colleagues or Company property
To communicate relevant information with Colleagues in order to improve internal communication within the department and Company
To coach, discipline & provide constructive feedback to Security Colleagues in a fair and consistent manner in order to motivate and improve performance
Ensure that the Security Colleagues are abiding with the rules and regulation at all the time while carrying their duties
Ensure that all Security Colleagues are following the safety measures while carrying their duties
Ensure that the Leisure Facility is safe and ready for operations prior opening the park for the guests
Ensure that the Leisure Facility is clear of guests and main gate is locked after the park operational hours
Schedule and conduct monthly / quarterly equipment / assets inventoryand report any irregularities
Attend the company's communications channels, such as daily briefs, team briefs and team meetings to ensure a consistent and effective two way flow of information between management and Colleagues
Conduct rounds inside the park premises and report irregularities
Attend and facilitate VIP Guests and inform park management on the spot
Conduct Trainings for other departmental Colleagues if required
Carry out random spot checks liaising with concerned Department
Responsible for Lost & Found Property deposited with Security and for its safekeeping and discarded after prescribed period as per policy (FWAD Specific)
Maintain effective communication and coordination with all other Departments
Prepares and ensure Security daily reports are forwarded to Line Manager and relevant personnel’s
Essential :
Higher Secondary or equivalent
2 years’ experience in a supervisory role with experience in the hospitality / leisure industry
