Company Description

At James Café in the heart of Abu Dhabi, we serve French-inspired dishes recognized by the Michelin Guide, from exquisite breakfasts to globally inspired lunches and dinners. Our premium desserts and warm hospitality complete the experience.

We are seeking a dynamic Café Manager who is fluent in Italian, Spanish, or French to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest standards of customer service, product quality, and team performance. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and brings a strong sense of leadership and cultural flair to the team.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the daily operations of the café
Ensure smooth workflow and high service standards at all times
Train, motivate, and supervise the team to ensure consistency and excellence
Monitor inventory, ordering, and supplier coordination
Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues professionally
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Assist in marketing initiatives and seasonal promotions
Maintain the brand’s image and uphold company values

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Café Manager or similar role (minimum 3 years)

Fluent in Italian, Spanish, or French (English proficiency is required)

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment

Knowledge of café operations, food and beverage service, and POS systems

Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays

A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
