Define the countrys business development strategy in line with country business strategy financial objectives Group guidelines and policies for medium to large new business opportunities Set and implement business development plans and budgets account management approach and account plans Lead strategic business development activities and initiatives across the country with significant impact on overall results Drive the countrys market growth and retention rate Support customer strategies and contract negotiations Achieve pricing strategy that is consistent with the business objectives of the country Direct market studies and feasibility studies to assess market potential Support team to develop major leads prepare proposals negotiate and convert business Build relationships and coordination strategies with local businesses to acquire resources enhance working processes and productivity and to create integrated sales Facilitate alignment of global strategies with the countrys strategy and ensures coordination of global efforts within the country Drive business development synergies within the country and decide on areas for improvement based on pipeline reporting Interpret key trends and developments impacting business and identify change needs within the country level business development plans Promote systems for monitoring competitive activity and dissemination of information and best practices to relevant parties Imbibe best in class sales and business development practices for the country Influence innovation that directly influence the way the country is operating and making money Analyze complex issues with multiple dimensions and modify business development methods and techniques Reach agreement with external parties to accept complete proposals and programs where there is little interest in cooperating or participating Negotiate and authorize critical agreements contracts changing terms and conditions significantly where required Lead direct coach and develop performance of the country s business development team Stakeholders Extensive contact and negotiating with other departments and 3rd parties with conflicting objectives Influence and challenge key stakeholders effectively Develop strong trusting crossfunctional relationships with senior DHL business leaders Influence others across DHL and externally as an internally and externally recognized thought leader representing the Group Champion cooperation and partnership to provide integrated solutions to problems Management Responsibility Lead multiple teams of lower level executives directors senior managers and managers Develop short to longterm 15 years plans for optimizing the organization function or jobfamily and the talent required to execute strategies Now here s what we need from you Qualifications Education Level Masters degree Years experience More than 8 years Skills New Business Development Account Management Selling CrossSelling Persuasion Customer Value Proposition Value Added Services Sales Proposals Contract Negotiation Sales Forecasting Revenue Growth Change Management CRM Entrepreneurship Marketing Sales Channels Salesforce DHL Business Knowledge Business Processes Business Strategy Project Management Stakeholder Management Influencing Feedback Presentation Storytelling Facilitation Negotiation People Management Resourcing We offer Opportunities in a global company where you can contribute your ideas and skills to move towards our shared goals Possible further career development Competitive salary
