About the Job An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Therapist to join the Talise Ottoman Spa team at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Your key responsibilities will include Carry out spa treatments to the highest of standards Ensure all checks and preparation are adhered to standard protocols thus providing a smooth and professional service Ensure therapists are fully prepared for guests and consultation forms are used prior to the treatments and appropriate therapy is advised for further actions Carry out and monitor treatments where necessary thus ensuring the treatments are to the required standard ensure specific treatments are adhered to standard guidelines Ensure any member and guests complaints or queries are followed through in an effective professional and timely manner Provide a clean and safe environment within the Spa in line with standard documentation sequence of services SOPs etc thus adhering to UAE regulations Ensure all therapists comply with JZS three stages training path observe receive and perform Ensure treatment rooms are immaculately maintained linen terry and any equipment in the treatment room Keep treatment costing and Menu Matrix up to date Responsible along with Spa Manager for keeping the Cost of sales expense line aligned to budget Keep appropriate Par stock on all inventory s goods Maintain and order supplies and equipment in a timely and efficient manner while minimizing waste Perform necessary action to achieve retail sales targets through personal prescriptions and consultations Provide training in product knowledge and working closely with our partners to create incentive programs that help achieve results Along with Spa Supervisor participate in continual training with product houses for all therapists Responsible for interview train schedule and monitor therapist performance Motivate and train all Spa and BSU associates for the provision of excellent therapy services to guests and maximize of their Spa experience by advising correct treatments and offering full product knowledge in accordance with Spa protocol and accepted certification practices To work with the Spa leadership team ensuring the Spa and Fitness is operating to its optimum level throughout the day highlighting any potential service issues and presenting proposals on improving service To carry out all administration duties to a high standard with the utmost accuracy Conduct daily operational checks to be completed as follows treatment rooms preparation rooms storage rooms etc to be checked and fully compliant to be recorded signed and filled for future inspections Responsible for tracking Spa therapist scores in Medallia LQA and Trip Advisor Ability to create and implement an action plan if necessary Promptly liaise with maintenance vendors and management to resolve any building or equipment issues Actively participates in the creation and or improvement of treatment protocols to elevate guest experience About You The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications experience and skills 5 years of work experience as a Spa Therapist 12 years experience as a lead therapist or team leader 23 years of experience within luxury hospitality or luxury customer service Experience working with cutting edge technology within the wellness industry Experience in Spa sales Experience working in a multicultural environment Regional exposure and experience Highschool diploma Qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent BTEC BABTEC CIDESCO or body therapy NVQ Level IV Microsoft Office Proficiency Intermediate Book 4 time Proficiency Advance Yield management Proficiency Intermediate Knowledge of managing finance overseeing budgets sales targets etc invoicing Innovate New Spa Therapies and guests journeys Thorough understanding of every spa service including benefits indications and contraindications for each of the treatments facials and massages Proficient in English Read Write Speak Essential Knowledge of additional language Desired Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service orientation Adaptability and appreciation of cultural diversity Positive attitude Strong training skills Ability to lead a team and coordinate a department in the absence of senior management List below all measurable or observable knowledge skills abilities and or behaviors that is needed to succeed in performing the job Attention to details Handson assist colleagues in crunch times Emotional intelligence to maintain and preserve a healthy and pleasant working environment Adaptability to handle new changes and challenges with ease Conflict resolution whether it s a dispute between coworkers or with a customer Strong Organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fastpaced environment with minimal supervision You will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
