Job Title : Engineer Network & Security (Cloud CoE)

Location : Abu Dhabi (UAE)

Experience : 4+

Work Mode : Onsite

Employment Type : Full Time

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days Preferred

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Network & Security Engineer to join our Cloud Center of Excellence (Cloud CoE). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and migrating secure networking solutions across Data Centers, On-Prem, and Azure Cloud environments . You will play a key role in deploying enterprise-grade solutions involving SDN, firewalls, VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

Key Responsibilities :

Network & Security Implementation

  • Deploy data center networking technologies like Cisco ACI, Juniper Apstra (Spine-Leaf Topology), and VMware NSX-T.
  • Configure and implement firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper) in on-prem & Azure cloud.
  • Set up and migrate hybrid infrastructure (on-prem to cloud or between data centers).
  • Implement Azure-specific network and security components, including ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, VPNs.
  • Deploy security tools like Azure Sentinel , Security Center , and IAM solutions .
  • Set up VPNs, email security, collaboration tools, wireless networks, and IP telephony.

Project Execution & Documentation

  • Prepare design and implementation documentation : HLD, LLD, Network Implementation / Migration Plans, NRFU documents.
  • Conduct UAT, operational readiness, and handover procedures.
  • Work with 3rd-party vendors, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform rack planning, cabling, power & capacity assessment with passive infra teams.

    • Security & Compliance

  • Perform vulnerability scans, Azure security reviews aligned with Azure Well-Architected Framework.
  • Ensure compliance with standards like ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS.

    • Required Skills & Experience :

    Technical Must-Haves :

  • Azure Cloud : Landing Zone, ExpressRoute, Network-Security stack.

    • Certifications (Must / Preferred) :

  • Must : AZ-104, CCNA (Routing & Switching / Security / DC), PCNSE / Fortinet NSE
  • Preferred : AZ-500, AZ-700, VMware VCIX-NV, F5 LTM / GTM, ITIL Foundation

    • Good to Have :

  • Knowledge of Python, Ansible for automation.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (for containerized infra).
  • Familiarity with hybrid architectures and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

    • Key Projects Exposure (Bonus) :

  • Cloud migration projects
  • Large scale Data Center transformations
  • Azure-native and 3rd-party security integrations
