Specialist Procurement Job Location UAE Key Responsibilities Manage the procurement process for goods and services to meet speed and effectiveness standards Identify new suppliers by researching and updating supplier background and credentials while adhering to a business code of conduct Evaluate vendors prices reliability performance and agreement adherence to ensure timely and quality compliance Prepare and review purchasing files reports and price lists to determine the best bid among potential suppliers Evaluate and assess registered vendors to meet internal performance targets and identify contract performance variances Collect and discuss requirements needs from different departments concerning materials services and equipment purchases Execute material requisition requests in accordance with procurement policies and accurately log material purchase orders and contract information into the system Expedite delivery of pending orders and maintain effective communication with the procurement section Inspect incoming shipments to verify order fulfilment and adherence to specifications Maintain documents files and contracts electronically in the Procure to Pay system with traceability Monitor manage and report on achievements on key purchasing indicators Calculate the costs of orders track invoicing and charge or forward invoices to the appropriate accounts Provide operational support to ensure timely response to unforeseen supply failures Coordinate with the legal function to ensure purchasing processes and documents comply with applicable legal frameworks Stay informed about market developments in purchasing techniques and product technology
