Role Purpose :

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Executive to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and providing sound legal advice to support the business’s operations. This role requires a solid legal background, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including but not limited to :
Facility Management Contracts
Maintenance and Service Agreements
Contract Amendments
Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
Consultancy and Contractor Agreements
IT and SaaS (Software as a Service) Contracts
Prepare and issue legal notices, including breach notices, demand letters, and termination notices.
Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on contractual obligations, risk exposure, and compliance.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure contracts align with company policies and risk frameworks.
Assist in the development and implementation of legal templates and standard operating procedures.
Support dispute resolution processes and liaise with external legal counsel as required.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university.

4 – 6 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in the retail or FMCG sector.

Strong expertise in contract law with proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements.

Excellent command of English (spoken and written).

Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic , particularly for contract drafting, is highly preferred.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Experience in an in-house legal role.

Familiarity with local laws and regulatory requirements in the GCC region (if applicable).
