Job Description

Are you passionate about leveraging cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies to transform industries? EPAM is seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join a transformative healthcare project in Abu Dhabi.

This role focuses on delivering impactful AI-driven solutions by designing and implementing machine learning models that address healthcare-specific challenges.

As part of this initiative, you will work with large-scale healthcare datasets, optimize operational efficiency, and improve patient outcomes through personalized care and automation. Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models and AI-driven solutions tailored to healthcare needs.
  • Analyze large, complex healthcare datasets to identify actionable insights and opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model validation to ensure high standards of solution quality.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of AI use cases.

Requirements

  • 3-7+ years of experience in data science, preferably in healthcare or life sciences domains.
  • Advanced knowledge of machine learning techniques, including NLP, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, Spark, with hands-on experience using TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark MLlib, MLFlow, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
  • Experience in building and scaling MLOps and LLMOps architectures.
  • Proficiency with developer tools such as Azure DevOps, PyCharm / MS Visual Studio, Docker, and related frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Databricks and cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
  • Expertise in healthcare datasets, data pipelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of healthcare industry challenges and AI applications in patient care and life sciences.
  • The role requires working from the office in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
