Customs Clearance Officer

Location Hamriyah Free Zone Sharjah UAE Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage inventory logistics ensuring effective communication with suppliers customs brokers carriers and other stakeholders Ensure timely shipment and delivery of goods while maintaining appropriate inventory levels Coordinate pickups and deliveries with transport companies and assign routing to drivers Conduct cost analysis of various transportation providers to select the most costeffective solutions Manage reception storage and documentation of incoming shipments Communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners including trucking companies warehouse supervisors customs agents sales teams and clients Review and log purchase orders in relation to current stock levels to optimize procurement and reduce logistics costs Ensure timely order processing and delivery through coordination with courier services and warehouses Plan and coordinate all logistical requirements for shipments Assist in auditing vendor invoices and supporting monthend financial processing and accruals Qualifications Requirements Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping transportation and customs clearance ideally within the food manufacturing sector Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures particularly in UAE Free Zones with preference given to experience in Hamriyah Free Zone Ability to work in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment with attention to detail
