Senior Accountant Job Location United Arab Emirates Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Generally Accepted Accounting Principles to ensure accuracy and compliance Budget Analysis Assist in the development monitoring and analysis of departmental budgets providing insights to management for strategic decisionmaking Team Leadership Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants providing guidance on accounting principles procedures and best practices Account Reconciliation Oversee the reconciliation of accounts ensuring discrepancies are promptly addressed and resolved Audit Support Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the audit process providing documentation and explanations as required Tax Compliance Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and deadlines Job Details Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field CA Inter designation preferred 5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting and regulatory compliance Excellent analytical communication and leadership skills Ability to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and work effectively in a fastpaced environment
