About the Role

As Vice President of Data & AI , you will serve as the organization’s top leader for all data and AI initiatives, setting the vision, building strategic partnerships, and leading cross-functional teams to transform healthcare delivery through intelligent technology. This is a mission-critical role focused on scaling digital health platforms, optimizing population health outcomes, and enhancing system-wide data interoperability.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Vision & Executive Leadership

  • Set and refine the enterprise AI & data strategy across all digital health programs.
  • Represent data strategy in executive forums and with regulatory / government stakeholders.
  • Champion innovation in data monetization, intelligent automation, and health analytics.
  • Oversee architecture of secure, compliant, and interoperable data platforms.
  • Ensure data privacy, security, and ethical AI principles are embedded at every level.
  • Drive the implementation of enterprise data governance and master data management.

Team & Capability Building

  • Lead high-performing teams of data engineers, architects, AI scientists, and program managers.
  • Attract and retain top talent while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and health impact.

    • Cross-sector & Public Health Impact

  • Partner with clinical leaders, policymakers, and health systems to identify high-impact AI opportunities.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in health outcomes through AI-driven insights and automation.

    • Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in data, AI, or analytics roles; 3+ years in healthcare.
  • Proven track record in building and scaling data / AI functions in large-scale organizations.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare ecosystems, standards (FHIR, HL7, ICD, SNOMED), and payer-provider workflows.
  • Experience with large-scale Azure data architectures and operational ML systems.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
