Region

AMESA & APAC is a $54MM JV Net Revenue & ~$250 System Net Revenue business with a broad geographical coverage from significant sized developed RTD Tea markets, particularly in South East Asia and Japan, to developing RTD Tea markets (MENA, ANZ, Korea) and has an enormous growth opportunity for RTD Tea. The role is focused on RTDT category development in anchor markets like GCC and Australia as well as unlocking new markets with high LRB consumption such as India, Africa etc. In North and South East Asia the role is focused on enabling portfolio choices and unlocking investments for strategic growth cells where LIT has a high right to win (Thailand, Korea, Philippines) through disruptive platforms like sparkling iced tea

Main Purpose

The role is responsible as the Finance leader with seniority and experience to support both GMs of AMESA and APAC to influence and impact with Bottlers, including commercial negotiations, managing multiple stakeholders and EBA relationships to deliver this growth agenda. The role is also responsible for close coordination with Global CFO to deliver the P&L of both Regions, Balance Sheet items and evaluating business growth and innovation projects to deliver annual and strategic operating plans.

Responsibilities

Being the head of the Finance function for 2 regions, the role works closely as a finance business partner to the GMs and Franchise heads of the business to ensure performance targets are adequately set and progress is tracked to support successful delivery across the year. Specific areas of responsibility include : - Responsible to manage the overall planning and delivery of the P&L for AMESA and APAC- Support both GMs to drive the growth strategy and build a strong finance network with Bottlers to influence and impact delivery of the growth agenda- Business partner the 3 year Joint Business Planning (JBP) process with our Bottlers- Responsible for all Financial Planning & adherence to the Pepsi Lipton Control processes - Evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives, innovation projects, action plans & strategic options, propose contingency plans in-order to take corrective action- Ensure alignment with PepsiCo Finance community on financial and operational impact of the Pepsi Lipton targets- Work closely with the CFO to meet key project deliverables & deadlines for Global (financial) projects and together with the GMs, the negotiation strategies with Bottlers- Lead the Financial input of the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan for both Regions- Drive Bottler alignment during the Strategic Plan, AOP & Forecast updates and EBA renewal / negotiation - Monthly monitoring of Sales and P&L performance by Market- Deliver Productivities in Marketing, Innovations and Supply chain- Ensure a strong control environment is maintained in both regions through direct contact with the Pepsi Lipton Controller and IBM Shared Services Centre / Global Finance team and responsible for the compliance of financial reporting within financial JV policies.- Work closely with Pepsi Lipton Legal & Tax advisors to facilitate smooth Bottler negotiation and the franchise operating model.- Support new markets business development and negotiation of commercial terms in the EBA- Ownership of reporting and PBR process of region and markets to Global JV leadership team. - Responsible for overseeing the order to cash process and supply chain / co-packers financial tracking - Controls both regions G&A / Marketing / Insights budgets

Qualifications

The candidate should have a strong history of working in Finance and Accounting roles and a deep understanding of all financial processes, including reporting, planning and control and a real passion for delivery of results and embedding Finance into every area of the business. An understanding of Franchise management / P&L and exposure to working with multiple currencies is an advantage.

Bottler Centricity, Business Acumen, Strategic thinking, negotiation skills, stakeholder management, strategic influencing & building effective relationships in a matrix / Franchise organization are the key leadership skills required for the role.
