IT Officer

Job Purpose Seeking a dedicated IT Officer to join our team responsible for providing essential IT support and ensuring the smooth operation maintenance and development of our school s technology systems and infrastructure Expected Start Date Within one month Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage the school s IT infrastructure including servers networks and computer systems Provide technical support to staff and students for hardware software and networkrelated issues Install configure and update software and hardware as needed Ensure data security perform regular backups and manage user access controls Troubleshoot technical problems and minimize downtime by providing efficient solutions Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate technology into the curriculum Maintain an uptodate inventory of IT equipment and manage procurement when necessary Train staff and students on the effective use of technology and digital resources Ensure compliance with school policies and data protection regulations Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers as required Qualifications and Skills Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field Proven experience in IT support network management and systems administration Strong knowledge of operating systems hardware software and networking protocols Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills Good communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Experience in an educational setting is a plus
