ABOUT CARBONLINK :

CarbonLink is a new carbon credit brokerage firm that exists to unlock a new era of high-integrity, government-backed carbon markets. We are the exclusive broker of carbon credits issued under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, sourced directly from national registries built in partnership with A6 Labs and sovereign governments across Africa and Asia.

Unlike voluntary markets dominated by private registries, our credits represent legally authorised, blockchain-tracked environmental assets backed by national climate strategies. CarbonLink brings these credits to global buyers—corporates, institutional investors, and governments—looking for real impact, trust, and transparency in their climate action.

ROLE OVERVIEW :

We are seeking a commercially-minded Carbon Credit Broker to lead sales, client engagement, and market development efforts. As our first hire, you will build and manage our buyer portfolio, design tailored proposals, and serve as the key point of contact between CarbonLink and the market.

This is a high-impact role with room for leadership and scale. The successful candidate will shape the company’s commercial strategy, drive visibility across climate finance channels, and help define how sovereign carbon markets grow over the next decade.

The role will require regular travel, particularly across Africa and Asia, to engage with stakeholders, attend market events, and support transaction execution. We are looking for someone who is flexible, proactive, and willing to travel as part of this role.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Lead outreach and deal structuring with institutional buyers, corporates, and public-sector clients.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of transactions across multiple sovereign Article 6 programs.
• Build strong client relationships through education, responsiveness, and transparent pricing.
• Collaborate with internal technical / legal teams to ensure buyers receive accurate, high-integrity documentation.
• Track and analyse market trends, buyer preferences, and pricing benchmarks to inform sales strategy.
• Represent CarbonLink at key climate finance events and forums to drive visibility and thought leadership.
• Support the launch of national registries by preparing early demand pipelines and conducting market feedback loops.
