Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses or chemical experiments in laboratories for quality or process control or to develop new products or knowledge Roles Responsibilities Responsibility 1 Provide overall direction and guidance in smooth and effective running of chemical plants 2 Supervise work of chemical plant operations to achieve quality of work Coordinate with Shift Charge Engineer Supervisor during unit startup shutdown and normal running of the plant and maintain the chemistry under his control in round the clock shift 3 Make preparation and carry out the acid cleaning of Desalination plants and hypo plants under the supervision of Chief Chemist whenever required 4 Followup the annual maintenance of chemical plants Carry out trouble shooting in chemical plants and to follow daytoday maintenance as per defect reports 5 Maintain chemical consumption records 6 Monitor all chemical parameters and enter periodic readings on log sheets Summarize all activities events that took place during his shift in the log book 7 Prepare monthly reports and other reports pertaining to area under his supervision 8 Perform other duties as assigned Job Specifications Educational Desired Postgraduation in Chemistry Preferred Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Minimum Experience Type and duration Minimum 5 years in related filed Location Red Sea Project Umluj You will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
