Must have at least 2 years of experience in similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, managing team of Specialists, Senior Engineers and Engineers. Experience in EPC phase studies including preparation of Scope of Work, Statement of Requirement (SOR) and Design Basis documentation. Strong analytical ability with attention to details and knowledge. Engineering, design and construction of : Site preparation and civil infrastructure, including earthworks, ground improvement, roads, drainage, underground utilities and services, fencing, gates.Temporary facilitiesFoundations, including shallow foundations and deep piled foundations, precast and cast in situ.Concrete structures and buildings, including LNG storage tanks, precast and cast in situ. Steel structures, including stick built, preassembled and modules. Product loading jetties and other coastal worksBlast resistant Industrial Process buildings such as Control buildings and Substations. Subcontracts / procurement : Preparation of work scopes and specificationsTechnical bid evaluationsBulk material MTO Technical work execution : Work programming and resourcingKPI identificationProgress monitoring
Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Civil & Structural Specialist for our client ADNOC Gas in Abu Dhabi as part of our Project Engineering team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business.
Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based full time at our client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Job Purpose
- Provides Civil and Structural Engineering leadership for Project PMC team during Execute stage.
- Provides oversight and checking of Civil and Structural Engineering for the EPC stage of ADNOC LPP Project.
- Ensure EPC contractor Civil and Structural Engineering works comply with ADNOC LPP Project specifications and schedule, delivering value and cost effective, fit-for-purpose solutions to meet ADNOC LPP objectives.
