Overview of the Role

The Parts Sales – Back End (Workshop and Technical) role is responsible for managing the workshop counter, overseeing spare parts operations, updating minimum stock levels, analyzing parts consumption, and ensuring seamless coordination with OEMs. The role also involves handling part discrepancies, managing catalogues, and tracking back-orders to enhance operational efficiency. This position is based in Riyadh and reports to the Aftersales Manager.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the workshop counter, handling local purchases, consumables, and coordination with the spare parts procurement team.
  • Maintain and regularly update minimum stock levels based on OEM recommendations, consumption trends, maintenance requirements, and customer / workshop needs.
  • Assist in spare parts and warehouse management, ensuring inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Act as a key liaison with OEMs, handling technical aspects of spare parts, catalogues, and part discrepancy resolutions.
  • Receive and process customer inquiries, ensuring accurate identification of part numbers using parts catalogues.
  • Ensure all parts sold and issued are in a serviceable condition and suitable for their intended application.
  • Track and follow up on back-orders, providing timely updates to customers and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Execute SAP operations including quotations, sales orders, sales returns, warranty claims, and application of customer discounts as per standard procedures.
  • Support warranty returns and the salvaging of old stock, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Required Skills to Be Successful

  • Strong expertise in spare parts management at both warehouse and workshop counters, covering procurement, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
  • In-depth understanding of technical spare parts, including catalogues, OEM coordination, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Analytical ability to assess consumption patterns, maintenance data, and customer requirements to optimize stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in SAP system operations, ensuring seamless processing of quotations, orders, returns, and warranties.
  • A proactive approach, anticipating customer needs and ensuring timely procurement and order fulfillment.
  • Strong customer service orientation, handling inquiries, identifying accurate part numbers, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with OEMs, workshop teams, and customers, ensuring clarity in parts-related issues.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, ensuring that all parts meet serviceability and suitability standards.
  • Strong time management, analytical, and administrative skills to maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves close interaction with the spare parts procurement team, workshop personnel, and OEMs, ensuring efficient operations and prompt resolution of any issues.

    What Equips You for the Role

  • Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial vehicle spare parts handling.
  • Prior experience with a similar brand is an added advantage.
