Ultrasound Technologist

Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients Prepare patients for procedures and explain the procedure process Operate ultrasound equipment and capture highquality images Analyze images and communicate preliminary findings to physicians Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment regularly Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Medical Imaging or Radiologic Technology Certification in Diagnostic Ultrasound e g RDMS or equivalent Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technologist Knowledge of anatomy physiology and ultrasound equipment Good communication and patient care skills Ability to work accurately under pressure
