Quantity Surveyor Job Location UAE Allocation of appropriate estimating resources to various tasks Prepare and support the preparation and review of cost estimation for projects in pursuit Ensuring all proposals are subject to proper adjudication Close liaison and arrange meetings with other departments in the clients office for various estimation and benchmarking tasks Providing peers with guidance and training on their job responsibilities Provision of general support information to peer team members Create project costs and budgets based on clear objectives Demonstrable understanding of the clients key objectives with appropriate sector Analyze project data efficiently Setting up and managing workshops to achieve the required cost savings Assuming a leading role in setting objectives and priorities working as a proactive team player Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control Requirements Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying or Bachelors Degree in Engineering Preferably someone with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors RICS A minimum of 10 years of technical delivery experience Pre and postcontract experience mainly with consultants and developers in the Middle East Good Communication Skills
