Commis - Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Our client is looking for a passionate and hardworking Commis Chef to join their kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who’s at the early stages of their culinary career and eager to learn in a fast-paced, professional kitchen. You will support the chefs in daily food preparation, ensuring quality, hygiene, and consistency are always maintained.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in food preparation and basic cooking under the supervision of chefs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and kitchen equipment
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards in line with company and local regulations
• Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients as per recipes and chef instructions
• Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated (FIFO)
• Help with receiving and checking food deliveries
• Support other kitchen sections during busy service times
• Take part in training and development activities as required

Requirements

Preferred :

Prior experience in a hotel, fine dining, or high-volume restaurant environment

Food safety certification is an advantage
