About the Client
We are sourcing on behalf of a well-established grocery retail chain in Abu Dhabi that prides itself on quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. With multiple outlets across the region, the company is seeking a dedicated Store Manager to lead day-to-day store operations and ensure exceptional service delivery to its growing customer base.
Role Overview
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all store functions, including staff management, inventory control, customer service, merchandising, and achieving sales targets. You will lead and develop a high-performing team while ensuring the store runs smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all operational aspects of the store, including opening / closing procedures, cash handling, and staff scheduling
- Lead, train, and motivate store staff to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales goals
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability and product display
- Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to improve store performance
- Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Liaise with suppliers and logistics teams for timely stock replenishment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment
- Report directly to the Area or Regional Manager on KPIs and operational updates
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred)Minimum 3–5 years of retail management experience, ideally within a grocery or FMCG environmentStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plusProficient in POS systems, inventory software, and MS Office toolsCustomer-focused mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesNice to Have (Not Required)
