Position Summary :

The Senior Vice President (SVP) at CargoCrew plays a strategic and operational leadership role, driving growth, innovation, and profitability across the company’s global cargo sales, airline representation, and interline network activities. The SVP is responsible for overseeing multi-regional sales teams, strengthening airline and customer partnerships, ensuring operational excellence, and contributing to strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership

Define and implement the long-term vision, strategy, and objectives in alignment with the CEO and board.
Identify new business opportunities, strategic alliances, and potential markets.
Contribute to high-level decision-making across sales, commercial partnerships, digitalization, and operations.

Airline Partnerships & GSSA Management

Manage and grow airline relationships across offline and online GSSA markets.

Negotiate and oversee Cargo Capacity Sales Agreements (CSA), Block Space Agreements (BSA), and Interline contracts.

Lead yield management discussions and commercial performance tracking for all airline partners.

Set revenue and tonnage targets, oversee execution, and ensure performance metrics are met.

Lead key account management (KAM) strategy and support regional sales managers in their territories.

Support rate management processes, pricing strategy, and competitive market positioning.

Operations & Innovation

Drive digital transformation initiatives, including CRM, rate simulation, and cargo booking automation tools.

Oversee compliance with IATA regulations, AWB handling, and air cargo safety protocols.

Monitor and enhance operational workflows between UAE HQ, Frankfurt, and EU partners.

Lead, mentor, and develop senior managers across departments including Sales, Operations, and Customer Experience.

Foster a performance-driven, collaborative, and agile work culture.

Ensure optimal staffing, resource allocation, and organizational growth planning.

Key Qualifications :

Minimum 10 years of experience in air cargo logistics, preferably in a GSA / GSSA environment.

Proven track record in strategic leadership, business development, and airline relationship management.

Strong knowledge of interline agreements, cargo capacity sales, and global airfreight networks.

Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive), cargo booking platforms, and automation tools.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and team management skills.

Fluent in English and other languages are a plus.
