PURPOSE OF THE POSITION : The Off-Road Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the full scope of the off-road sector for Triumph Motorcycles including organizing, attending and staffing Demo events; managing all off-road related Marketing Communications; manage and oversee all off-road related Media Relations, Public Relations, and Ambassador / Influencer initiatives. Key priority of this position is to support the Triumph brand and the Triumph Dealer in the key areas of Retail, Wholesale and Marketing of the Off-Road Marketing to our dealers and staff.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :
- Fully dedicated to all off-road- and Dual Sport models
- Increase awareness of Triumph in off-road with high focus on Dealer Support and retail
- Support all off-road Dealer Programs such as Contingency, Amateur Racing and Support, select professional race programs support through dealers such as GNCC off road and Flat Track
- Create and support National off-road Triumph Dealer Demo ride events and programs
- Attend and support key National Amateur events
- Support Canadian Professional MX / SX Race team
- Keep Triumph Management current to the competition regarding models, race support and retail programs
- Develop competitive comparison in all areas of off-road to best support our dealers and staff highlighting our advantages
- Manage monthly off-road email marketing calendar to include consumer-facing email marketing content, and monthly social media calendar
- Work with MarCom Manager in development and distribution of various off-road creative assets, both digital and printed assets (POS materials), to include responsibility for keeping all dealer marketing portals current
- Administer building and distribution of off-road related dealer communications, including daily notices on Triumph dealer digital bulletin board and sharing via network email
- Organize, staff and attend select off-road events
- Acting as a positive and knowledgeable brand representative at consumer-facing events, able to provide event attendees with a positive brand experience to gain affinity, awareness, and consideration from potential Triumph consumers by offering them unique in-person experiences with the brand and product including demos
- Work with Marketing Director to plan annual off-road Marketing budget and actively manage approved budget
- Manage off-road venue and vendor negotiations, our visual and experiential presence, and event guide for all off-road events
- Oversee scheduling and management of off-road press fleet and support coordination with AfterSales / Operations teams to ensure timely and quality execution of off-road press fleet bike transportation logistics
- Develop and implement a public relations strategy specific to off-road, designed to create and maintain a favorable brand image and generate model awareness of latest product offering via high volume of endemic and non-endemic coverage
- Help generate original content to support dedicated North American market social media strategies designed to create and maintain favorable brand image and generate model awareness of latest off-road product offering with an emphasis on engagement
- Develop an influencer and ambassador strategy specific to off-road, and oversee execution of influencer contracts
- Identify, develop, and execute communications strategy for key media contacts, specific to off-road, to include but not limited to creating and delivering press releases and media relations content, scheduling press interview, and scheduling attendance at new product launches and rides
- Coordinate with corporate communications manager to write, edit, proofread, and revise off-road media communications
- Manage strategic partnerships with significant earned media opportunities, such as film placements, and oversee execution of contracts and motorcycle logistics specific to off-road motorcycles
- Research, track and report media coverage and industry trends
- Oversee off-road related activity on our regional websites ensuring the sites are regularly updated with all relevant brand communications

This position has spending authority on budget lines relevant to the off-road budgets (assuming final approval by Marketing Director, GM, and CFO)This position has authority to sign off on media insertions, provide approvals to all other departments, field staff and dealers on questions related to the corporate Brand GuidelinesThis position is required to work very independently. However, this position must understand when circumstances require an executive approval on any particular projectEDUCATION
