Execution Trader

Charterhouse is working with a systematic hedge fund that is looking to add an experienced execution trader to their front office team. The role involves executing systematic trades for portfolio managers across multiple products and asset classes.

The position will oversee electronic trade execution for all of the firm's PMs in Abu Dhabi, covering fixed income, equities, digital assets, and commodities. Since the firm primarily runs systematic strategies, the actual execution requirements will be limited. Therefore, this role will focus more on developing trading systems and monitoring model performance.

The firm aims to attract talent from overseas due to the complex nature of systematic trading and the current talent market's immaturity in this discipline. This role is crucial for further developing and strengthening the firm's trading capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in trade execution within a systematic strategy, preferably at a hedge fund or sophisticated family office. Programming skills in Python or C++ are also required. While the firm is flexible regarding asset class exposure, experience across multi-asset strategies is preferred.
