We are Hiring " Head of Business Development"
To identify, bid and secure new contract wins whilst ensuring repeat business from existing clients and retention of existing contracts to facilitate business growth. Use marketing intelligence and activities to support the business’ branding and positioning in the marketplace with a view to support the achievement of business plans and growth.
Key Accountabilities
- Take ownership of the management of the sales and business development functions of the business.
- Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company`s ambitious growth.
- Work in collaboration with operations to convert work winning opportunities into successful and profitable contracts
- To create a bid strategy and develop a bid programme with the bid team and other Work Winning resources - identify, capture and develop win themes.
- To ensure that submission documents are complete, delivered on time and fully responsive to formal and informal questions posed in the customers bid documentation.
- Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational Marketing and Customer Relationship activities.
- Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate innovative ideas.
- Ensure a commercial focus is maintained in established and / or developing markets
- Effectively differentiate the Emrill offering to maintain competitive lead over competitors
- To monitor bid costs and deliver the bid within the agreed budget.
- Developing relationships with client that will optimise work winning opportunities within the sector.
- Develop and participate in bids and presentations to key customers and potential clients.
- Support and shape the strategic direction of the transition plan for major contract awards.
- Provides input to the development of the Emrill plan with planning horizons typically up to 5 years.
Job Requirement
Chartered member of Chartered Institute desirableDegree qualified – preferably in Business Studies10 years work experience with at least 3 years in a senior management position.Bid and tender management experience essential, with responsibility for leading bid team in winning multi-million Dirham contract.Project experience should include retail, commercial, residential and leisure.FM experience desirable but not essential.Significant track record of success in managing a business contract, Business Unit, or region and / or providing support to a professional function.Marketing research and intelligence experience desirableSales experience with track record of generating leads and developing a strong network.J-18808-Ljbffr
