Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and budget reports for construction projects Manage and monitor project costs ensuring the project stays within budget Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for costeffective solutions Prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers Measure and assess work completed ensuring accurate payments and valuations Assess risks and implement strategies to minimize costs Collaborate with project managers architects and engineers to ensure project objectives are met Review and approve invoices from contractors and suppliers Ensure all work complies with relevant laws regulations and industry standards Requirements Bachelor s degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor preferably in the UAE Strong knowledge of construction costs estimating and procurement Familiarity with relevant software e g Microsoft Excel QS software Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to work in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment Knowledge of UAE construction codes and regulations is a plus
