Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chargehand to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Chargehand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating maintenance or construction activities, ensuring project success through effective leadership and technical expertise.
- Lead and supervise maintenance or construction crews, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to meet project deadlines
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards and resolve on-site issues promptly
- Manage and optimize the use of materials, tools, and equipment to enhance efficiency
- Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports on project progress to management
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met
- Mentor and train junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Analyze and interpret technical drawings, plans, and project specifications
- Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout project execution
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project flow
