We are seeking a talented individual to join our Regional Cyber team at Marsh. This role will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Cyber Broker is responsible for the placement of a client’s risk within the insurance and risk marketplace. Taking the client from point A i.e. leading initial client meetings from a Cyber perspective, explaining in a holistic manner what Cyber Insurance is along with providing details around Marsh capabilities and current market trends to point Z placing the business into the Cyber Insurance market.
We will count on you to :
- Develop and grow relationships with clients, colleagues and the DIFC & international insurance markets.
- Technical understanding of Cyber Insurance and Technology Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Contribute to the product and territorial development plan as part of the wider Cyber team.
- Talk clients through the intricacies of Cyber Insurance along with relaying information around Marsh Capabilities and related data we provide to clients. Detailing coverage provided within quotations received and relaying information of applicable services the client has access to.
- Negotiate with DIFC & International markets to obtain the best terms, conditions, coverage, and pricing for a client.
- Present the insurance terms to the client / client facing colleagues.
- Responsible for the execution of the placement strategy in accordance with client instructions. Executing placement with the short listed insurers / reinsurers.
- Identify the need for new products and develops innovative solutions for clients.
- Utilise risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance marketplace. Review and understand the nuances of specific clients exposures, risk profile and develop solutions for complex clients’ needs
- Determine the impact of solutions and articulates the value to clients.
- Receive and analyse quotes from carriers and provides analysis to clients including analysis of : pricing, coverage, services, quote comparisons, commentary and recommendation, identify differences against expiring program and subjectivities along with benchmarking to regional and international standards.
- Responsible for policy management including follow up for policies, binders, review of policy against bound terms & conditions, request for corrections (if any) and delivery of reviewed policy to onward delivery to client. Can be available to review policy with client.
What you need to have :
Educated to a degree level. Relevant college / university degree preferable but not essential.2+ years’ experience in insurance and / or a cyber or technology related background. Previous cyber insurance experience is preferential although not required. UAE / MENA Market exposure preferable but not essential.What makes you stand out?
