Educational Qualifications

Bachelors in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field with 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably handling sales in the airline industry, of which 3 years in a supervisory role.

Skills / Knowledge

  • Proficiency in English (Reading & Writing)
  • Proficiency in Arabic will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • High level of Emotional Quotient
  • Decision-making, Analytical skills, Negotiation skills

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify new routes to achieve company marketing goals and service levels in the assigned territory
  • Prepare marketing / business plans and allocate responsibilities to meet marketing goals
  • Monitor performance and address shortfalls in consultation with the Senior Manager - Regional Sales
  • Develop and achieve sales targets
  • Develop suitable sales strategies to increase market share
  • Recommend passenger fare structures to maximize revenue
  • Implement marketing campaigns to maximize uplift
  • Liaise with the Senior Manager - Regional Sales on corporate development
  • Develop business opportunities with corporate clients, hotels, tourism companies, media, and exhibition organizers
  • Make immediate decisions in coordination with the Senior Manager - Regional Sales to address operational issues
  • Ensure sales managers visit travel agents and top corporate clients to maximize sales and yield
  • Control operational costs without compromising quality and image
  • Enhance Oman Air’s image through media, personal interactions, and industry practices
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and coordinate with government agencies
  • Develop and maintain relations with government and regulatory bodies
  • Appoint and support staff, including Emergency Response Coordinators
  • Support cargo sales strategies and monitor market trends
  • Facilitate local authority requirements and monitor GSSA performance
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
