Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Marine Offshore Captain for ADNOC Offshore client within our Operations EMEA business.

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be office based with required site visits in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Expected :

  • Master Mariner Certificate of Competency (foreign going) or Higher Degree related to Oceaneering or Nautical Science.
  • Minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience in the marine industry, of which at least a 10 years in offshore marine operations of which 3 years’ experience in towing, anchor handling, dynamic positioning, cable laying, dredging / reclamation, pipelaying, offshore construction, vessel auditing and barge / jack up rigs moves operations in a Supervisory level.
  • Organizing and coordination skills with proficiency in English language. Communication and People Management skills.
  • Ability to remain abreast with developments in standards and marine related activities.
