Research & Development (R&D) Manager (Pharmacist)

Formulation & Process Development

• Conduct pre-formulation studies, solvent-and-excipient screening, and Design of Experiments (DoE) to establish robust formulations.
• Generate scale-up parameters and oversee pilot-plant batches, documenting CQAs and CPPs.

Analytical & Stability Support

• Coordinate analytical method development and stability studies for registration batches.
• Compile tech-transfer dossiers and lead handover to commercial manufacturing, ensuring process capability and documentation completeness.

Regulatory Documentation

• Author CMC sections of dossiers for MoPH, WHO, and potential export markets; respond to deficiency letters.
• Evaluate novel excipients, packaging options, and process technologies; foster a culture of scientific curiosity and disciplined experimentation.
• Build and mentor a multidisciplinary R&D team, setting clear objectives and performance metrics.

qualification

Education :

• Degree in Pharmacy.

Experience

• 3–5 years in pharmaceutical R&D with successful formulation development and tech-transfer accomplishments.

Technical Competence :

• Expertise in liquid-dosing technologies, DoE / scale-up tools, ICH Q8 / Q9 / Q10, and CMC dossier preparation.

Core Competencies : Languages :

• Fluent English; Dari / Pashto helpful.

Other :

• Full-time, on-site; able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
