Secondary Science Cover Teacher

We are looking for a dedicated Secondary Science Cover Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis This role involves covering lessons for absent Science teachers ensuring students continue to engage with the curriculum and progress in their studies Key Responsibilities Deliver planned lessons in line with the British Science Curriculum Ensure classroom discipline and a positive learning environment Support students in understanding scientific concepts and applying them in practical scenarios Mark student work and provide constructive feedback Keep students engaged and on task during lessons Work collaboratively with other teaching staff to address student needs Qualifications Skills A relevant teaching qualification e g PGCE QTS Strong knowledge of the British Secondary Science curriculum Physics Chemistry and Biology Experience teaching Science at the secondary school level Excellent classroom management and communication skills Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and student needs
