The General Manager will lead the end-to-end strategy, development, and execution of a growing real estate platform. The role is responsible for expanding the portfolio through development, acquisitions, and strategic investments, while optimizing existing assets. Key priorities include evaluating feasibility, securing land and project financing, and building a pipeline of income-generating developments. The role also oversees facilities management and ensures operational performance aligns with the wider strategic vision.
Strategic Leadership :
- Define and drive the vision, mission, and long-term strategy for the real estate platform
- Lead the development of a growth-oriented plan focused on acquisitions, development pipeline, and recurring income
- Oversee feasibility assessments and alignment with broader group investment priorities
- Collaborate with senior leadership on capital planning, deal approvals, and investment committee matters
- Build relationships with banks, brokers, and government bodies to support sourcing and execution
- Lead deal structuring, JV partnerships, legal reviews, and due diligence processes
- Evaluate existing portfolio for value creation, divestment, and repositioning opportunities
Operational Oversight :
Oversee end-to-end development including project planning, budgeting, execution, and deliveryLead asset and property management functions to optimize performanceManage internal and external stakeholders including contractors, consultants, and service providersEnsure risk management, compliance, and alignment with corporate governance standardsEstablish SOPs and operational best practices across the real estate functionFinancial Accountability :
Develop 3 5 year financial plans in coordination with finance leadershipEnsure P&L ownership, cost control, and disciplined capital allocationSecure project financing and monitor ROI, IRR, NPV, and overall investment performanceDrive EBITDA growth and value-creation across the portfolioKey Requirements :
