Job Role : - Procurement Officer
Job Location : - Hamriyah Freezon, Sharjah
Key Responsibilities :
Ø Supplier Management : Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of quality materials and services.
Ø Negotiation : Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
Ø -Purchase Orders : Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Ø Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels to ensure that adequate supplies are maintained without overstocking.
Ø Quality Assurance : Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all purchased materials meet required specifications and standards.
Ø Cost Control : Track and report on key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Ø Market Research : Stay informed about market trends, supplier market conditions, and material availability.
Ø Compliance : Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Ø Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and finance, to align procurement activities with company objectives.
Qualifications :
Ø Education : Minimum Diploma Level 4 in Procurement and Supply from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or Bachelor’s degree
Ø Experience : Minimum of 02 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
Ø Preference to Arabic Nationals
