POSITION OVERVIEW The Staff Nurse plays a critical role in delivering holistic and evidence-based nursing care to individuals, families, groups, and communities across all age groups and clinical settings.
This includes promoting health, preventing illness, and caring for those who are ill, disabled, or dying.
The role also encompasses advocacy, creating safe care environments, contributing to healthcare research, policy, education, and system management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide patient-centered care that is culturally safe and aligned with professional standards.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and use clinical reasoning to plan and deliver safe, effective, and efficient care.
Document accurately and maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
Advocate for patients' rights, promote informed decision-making, and protect patients in crisis situations.
Provide health education tailored to patient and family needs.
Integrate evidence-based practice and current research into patient care.
Support and mentor peers to enhance overall nursing care quality.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Collaborate in planning and delivering patient care, recognizing the contributions of all team members.
Uphold professional boundaries and organizational customer service standards.
Contribute to building a cooperative and productive team environment within and across departments..
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
DOH licensed / DOH Exam Passer / Exam Exempted (DHA / MOH license may be considered).
Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in a hospital setting.
