Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS or local statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all local tax regulations, financial reporting requirements, and EMEA regulatory requirements (e.g., VARA, MiCA, FCA).
• Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement the regional financial strategy by providing financial guidance to the regional leadership teams to support decision-making and business growth.
• Develop financial models and strategic frameworks to assess business opportunities and risks.
• Implement financial systems and processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability to ensure robust internal controls over financial reporting and intercompany transactions.
• Drive automation and process improvements to support business growth and financial controls.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team across the EMEA region by developing talent within the team, providing training, guidance, and career development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative culture that promotes accountability and excellence.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional financial regulations and cryptocurrency market developments.
