In this role, you will work closely with the Executive team and be responsible for the growth of existing businesses and new business with Financial Institutions. You will be working with Banking and Fintech payers to grow the number of SME users / businesses across the region.

A fintech company that provides a cloud-native, API-first platform enabling banks and financial institutions to offer digital payment acceptance, merchant services, and value-added tools like loyalty programs and customer engagement features to small and medium-sized businesses. It operates through a B2B model, empowering BFSIs to serve merchants with white-labeled solutions rather than selling directly. The company is active across India, the Middle East, and Africa, with partnerships involving leading regional banks.

Description

  • Identify potential clients, negotiate deals, and manage relationships with clients and partners within the financial sector in GCC.
  • Develop marketing and growth strategies while working closely with other teams, focusing on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Hire, train, and coach a high-performance sales team, with a focus on customer segments from mid-market to enterprise.
  • Develop the long-term vision and strategy for the team and manage day-to-day operations, emphasizing performance against targets.
  • Supply insights from merchants in local markets.
  • Enable the regional field team to drive day-to-day interactions with prospects to build long-term business opportunities.
  • Drive partnerships that create strong referral networks generating high-quality leads.
  • Inspire, motivate, and enable personal and career development of team members to promote growth and increase business impact.

Profile

  • At least 5+ years of progressive professional enterprise sales experience, particularly in fintech, banking, payments providers / enablers.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment; serve as the escalation point for the team’s daily operations and report progress to the executive team.
  • Deep understanding of payments and e-commerce, especially for SMEs.
  • Strong motivation skills for both inbound and outbound sales teams with diverse experience and skillsets.
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Managerial experience is a plus, though the role is initially an individual contributor.
