Job Purpose Takes lead role in the initial build and maintenance of the active Marginal Full field dynamic simulation models based on new and evolving Geomodel builds Build reservoir simulation models Full Field Sector to ensure latest reservoir and other data and knowledge are tried and tested in the test models before being rolled over to the operational Full Field model Provides up dated HCIIP and single well production forecasts to be used in economic analyses Job Specific Accountabilities Part 1 Utilities reservoir simulation models based Geomodel and fluid uncertainties to refine estimates in field total and field accessible HCIIP Identify and manage key sub surface uncertainties Work closely with Reservoir Studies Geologist to identify optional method and degree of upscaling from Geomodel to Dynamic model Constructs sector models to assist in understanding the impact of reservoir heterogeneity fractures and other reservoir properties may have on well production Integrate results of all existing well test data PVT fluids analysis SCAL and routine core analysis into reservoir model Job Specific Accountabilities Part 2 Ensures the smooth transfer of new Full Field model builds based on Geomodels updates to Development REs To identify reservoir engineers skills gaps and training needs organize reservoir and petroleum engineering training courses To offer technical advice practical help and assistance to staff as and when required concerning reservoir or multidisciplinary studie Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner Ensure compliance to HSE policy in all aspects of the professional delivery Job Specific Accountabilities Part 3 Works in accordance with the established Company Policy and Procedures Provide Reservoir Engineering inputs for Delineation Development Appraisal Workover Well Prognosis To be able to generate a quick economic model to predict economical outlook for any CFDP or FDP Staying up to date with the latest software developments and new applications which are of potential value to the Division Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of Sub Surface Division systems processes and practices taking into account international best practice improvement of business processed cost reduction and productivity improvement Generic Accountabilities Supervision Plan supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives Budgets Provide input for preparation of the Section Department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control Policies Systems Processes Procedures Implement approved Section Department policies processes systems standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Sections Department work programs in line with Company and International standards Generic Accountabilities continue Performance Management Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Section Department in line with the Company Performance framework Innovation and Continuous improvement Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function Health Safety Environment HSE and Sustainability Comply with relevant HSE policies procedures controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices Internal Communications Working Relationships Reports directly to Line manager Reservoir Engineering Specialist and other team members in the department and division regarding project execution External Communications Working Relationships Frequent contacts with OPCO staff on joint studies or sub surface projects carried out by the OPCOs Occasional contacts with consultants and contractors on projects carried out for Al Dhafra Minimum Qualification Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline Minimum Experience Knowledge Skills Minimum 8 12 years Reservoir Engineering experience including proficiency with simulation software PSIM Eclipse volumetric analysis material balance well performance monitoring risk uncertainty analysis Recent handson expertise of Full Filed sector simulation modelling sensitivity analysis Large development project experience Oil and Gas in You will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
