Sofa Carpenter Job Location UAE Key Responsibilities Construct and assemble sofa frames using various woodworking techniques and materials such as hardwood plywood and metal Measure and cut materials accurately based on design specifications Build and install internal frameworks ensuring structural integrity and durability Collaborate with upholsterers to ensure the frame supports the padding fabrics and cushioning Repair and refurbish existing sofas and upholstered furniture Select appropriate materials and hardware for each project Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety standards Interpret design drawings sketches and customer specifications Test finished products for quality stability and comfort Qualifications Proven experience as a carpenter furniture maker or similar role Knowledge of upholstery techniques is a plus Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Good physical stamina and handeye coordination Ability to work independently and as part of a team Relevant certifications or vocational training in carpentry or furniture making is preferred
