DFS Aviation Services are currently looking for a highly motivated and qualified Tower Air Traffic Controller to join our team in Dubai, UAE. If selected, you will manage and control air traffic service ensuring a safe, orderly and expeditious flow of traffic for all aircraft operating within the assigned areas of responsibility.

This role will be based in DXB, Dubai International Airport, at Dubai Air Navigation Services (DANS). dans provides air navigation services at four airports in the UAE, one of which is the world's busiest airport for international passengers, where their mission is to empower and develop all their people in delivering world-leading air navigation services that exceed every standard, assure their customers, and shape global innovation.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage air traffic flow and provide operators with slot allocation information as required, to avoid congestion within or beyond dans’ assigned areas of responsibility.
• Co-ordinate with the appropriate external agencies correctly and in a timely manner, including but not limited to adjacent ATCUs, UAE military and Airside Operations.
• Adhere to regularity reporting of safety incident (ROSI) requirements, ensuring that the information provided is accurate, unambiguous, and complete.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of trust in which people are encouraged to report safety related issues without the risk of punishment for actions, omissions or decisions taken by them which are commensurate with their experience and training but where gross negligence, willful violations and destructive acts are not tolerated.
• Provide On-the-Job-Training (OJT) to staff as directed by unit management upon obtaining regulatory endorsement. Complete progress reports on trainee ATCOs and discuss the contents with the trainees and management.
• Participate on an ad hoc basis in simulation exercises, development of procedures and airspace restructuring.
