We are a leading multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong presence in the UK and internationally. Known for delivering innovative, sustainable, and client-focused engineering solutions, we are now seeking a highly experienced Director of Fire Engineering to lead and grow our Fire Engineering division in London.

Role Overview

As the Director of Fire Engineering , you will be responsible for strategic leadership, team development, project delivery, and client relationship management across a broad range of sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, transport, and infrastructure. This is a key leadership role requiring technical expertise, business acumen, and a proven track record in managing complex fire engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Fire Engineering team in London and contribute to the national and international growth strategy.
• Provide technical oversight and direction across fire engineering projects to ensure high standards of quality, compliance, and innovation.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships and lead business development efforts to secure new opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with other directors and technical leads across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Represent the business at industry forums, conferences, and networking events.
• Ensure all projects comply with UK Building Regulations, BS and EN standards, and relevant fire safety legislation.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers through structured development plans.
• Oversee financial performance, resource planning, and project profitability for the Fire Engineering division.
• Provide strategic input into company-wide initiatives, including ESG, digital transformation, and R&D.
