We deliver only the best, so we are always in search of the best people to join our ever-growing talented team.As Head of Compliance & MLRO , you will serve as the named regulatory officer for ’s newly established UAE entity, taking on full accountability for the compliance and financial crime framework under the CBUAE Stored Value Facility (SVF) and broader regulatory regime. This dual-role function sits at the heart of our UAE strategy as we launch and grow services such as digital wallets, prepaid cards, and peer-to-peer payments .You’ll be responsible for leading regulatory engagement, designing the compliance architecture, embedding AML / CFT protections, and ensuring our technology and operations are built to meet the highest standards. This is a rare opportunity to build a compliance program from the ground up , partner cross-functionally on new product initiatives, and shape how operates in one of its most strategic markets.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Ownership : Serve as the named CCO and MLRO with the CBUAE, leading all compliance obligations, including licensing, audits, regulatory returns, and inspections.
• Framework Design : Build and implement a robust compliance framework covering SVF requirements, AML / CFT, consumer protection, outsourcing, and data privacy.
• AML Program Leadership : Define and oversee policies, tools, and processes for transaction monitoring, SAR / STR submissions, KYC / CDD, sanctions screening, and fraud detection.
• Tech-Enabled Compliance : Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to integrate compliance into customer onboarding, transaction flows, and monitoring systems.
• Governance & Reporting : Lead the preparation of audit responses, board-level reporting, risk assessments (BWRA, RCSA), and maintain all compliance registers, calendars, and training logs.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Act as the primary contact for the CBUAE, FIU, law enforcement, and internal committees (, Risk, Compliance, Audit), while fostering a strong compliance culture internally.
• Product Advisory : Partner with cross-functional teams to embed compliance in new services—from peer-to-peer payments to cross-border remittances—ensuring regulatory alignment and conduct-risk mitigation.
• Team Enablement : Train UAE-based employees on AML, compliance, and ethical conduct obligations. Promote an organizational culture of integrity, transparency, and regulatory respect.
