SENIOR ELECTRICAL FIELD ENGINEER

We are hiring a highly experienced Senior Electrical Field Engineer to join our team on ADNOC onshore oil and gas projects based in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and must have a solid track record of working on ADNOC projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Supervise and provide technical guidance during installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of electrical systems including MV / LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, lighting, and earthing systems.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules, equipment datasheets, and vendor documents.
• Support construction teams in resolving site technical queries (TQs) and assist in the preparation and response to RFIs.
• Ensure all electrical works are executed in compliance with ADNOC specifications, project standards, and international codes (IEC, NEC, IEEE, etc.).
• Conduct and witness inspections, loop checks, and pre-commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with QA / QC, HSE, instrumentation, and mechanical teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of electrical activities.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and energization activities.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project schedule and quality standards.
• Review and approve method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and material submittals related to electrical scope.
• Provide regular updates and reports to project management and client representatives.
