Job Purpose
- To prepare accurate & efficient estimation of all warranty jobs as per Warranty Policy ensuring that all the
warranty requirements have been met, for raising successful claims.
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure all the details required for warranty are available on the repair order form before estimating (costing)the warranty repair and replacements.
Ensure all the documents required by Warranty are attached to the repair order and any un-claimable hoursare reported to Service Manager, with copy to Warranty Controller for suitable decision / advice.
Return repair order to the Quality Controller in case of any discrepancy clearly noting the same in red ink inthe front of the repair order under "Rectify following processes" stamp.
Process costing reports as required by the Service Manager / Warranty Controller / ManagerEnsure all cost are entered accurately and invoiced against the correct warranty account.Job Requirements
