Job Summary
The Investment Advisor provides support to the Relationship Managers and their clients to meet the client’s desired investment objectives and increase bank’s share of wallet. The Investment Advisor plays a key role in providing the bank’s house views on markets and products and providing clients with investment solutions in line with their investment objectives and risk profile. The Investment Advisor helps in liaising with the product managers within the Wealth Management Product team on a regular basis to discuss client requirements and to ensure flow of product and market knowledge.

Strategy
- Assisting Affluent Segment - Relationship Managers in the UAE to meet client’s desired investment objectives and assist in achievement of AUM growth and revenues from Investment products
- Responsible for updating the frontline and customers of the bank on the outlook published by the CIO Office with relevant and timely information on global Capital Markets, Asset Classes and route to market ideas
- To play a key role in liaising with the product managers within the WM product team (Managed Investments, Bancassurance, CMPS and WM Lending) on a regular and ad-hoc basis to ensure flow of client and market requirement.
- Ensure proper client coverage is provided to complete Portfolio Reviews of target clients as defined from time to time in addition to planning for New to Wealth client.

Determine client’s risk appetite, investment preference and return expectations by partnering with Relationship Managers in client meetingsConduct portfolio reviews by providing independent opinion on quality of client’s existing portfoliosEnsure that all the wealth management sales teams (Frontline RMs & Specialists) receive adequate sales support, and route to market ideas basis current & relevant viewsKeep abreast of latest trends on Investment products, financial markets, consumer behaviours and use of technology in providing investment solutionsProvide reports / analysis where required within the management framework.Processes
