Job Description

1. Job Purpose

To ensure effective implementation of civil quality control activities at site in compliance with ADNOC LNG, Technip, and applicable international standards. The Senior Civil QC Engineer shall oversee civil inspection activities, manage subcontractors' quality deliverables, and support project teams to achieve quality objectives.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve civil ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), method statements, and material submittals in line with project specifications and ADNOC LNG / Technip standards.
  • Ensure all civil activities comply with latest IFC drawings, project specifications, and QMS requirements.
  • Conduct and lead inspections for activities including excavation, backfilling, rebar installation, formwork, concreting, waterproofing, asphalt paving, grouting, etc.
  • Verify material traceability, correct batching, and concrete testing (slump,temperature, air content, cubes / cylinders).
  • Supervise and evaluate the work of site civil inspectors and provide necessary training and guidance.
  • Liaise with ADNOC LNG PMC / Client representatives for all inspections and approvals.
  • Raise and close NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), issue SORs (Site Observation Reports), and initiate corrective / preventive actions.
  • Coordinate third-party and independent lab testing for concrete, soil, asphalt, etc.
  • Maintain all inspection records, test reports, and QA / QC documentation systematically.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as per ADNOC / Technip audit schedules.
  • Review and validate subcontractor quality control documentation and final dossiers.
  • Provide inputs for the preparation of weekly and monthly QA / QC reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years in ADNOC or similar EPC, oil & gas, LNG projects .
  • Proven experience with Technip or similar international EPC companies is preferred.
  • Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of UAE local standards , ADNOC Specifications (latest revisions) , and international codes (ACI, ASTM, BS, ISO, etc.).
  • Familiarity with ADNOC LNG Quality Management Systems and reporting formats.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex civil / structural drawings and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of grouting, soil improvement, piling, marine concrete works, and precast installation is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quality management tools (e.g., EDMS, QMIS).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • HSE & Compliance

  • Promote safe working practices in compliance with ADNOC HSE standards.
  • Ensure all civil QA / QC processes are aligned with ADNOC’s Incident Free culture.
