Role Overview
UAS International Trip Support is embarking on a bold digital transformation in 2025, modernizing every facet of its operation. The role holder will lead the creation of a unified, intelligent data ecosystem across the enterprise. This strategic role will drive data architecture, governance, and insight generation, enabling real-time decision-making and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Executive President and closely aligned with the CEO, the position will play a critical role in shaping the company’s future through data.
Key Responsibilities :
Enterprise Data Strategy & Vision
- Develop and own the company-wide data strategy aligned with UAS’s transformation roadmap.
- Set long-term goals for data maturity, innovation, and business enablement through analytics.
Data Architecture & Integration
Design scalable, secure, and future-proof data architecture (data lake, warehouse, pipelines).Integrate legacy systems, operational tools, finance, and real-time data flows into a cohesive platform.Apply frameworks like data mesh or hybrid models as appropriate.Business Intelligence & Insight Enablement
Enable enterprise-wide access to timely, accurate, and actionable insights.Lead the implementation and evolution of BI platforms and self-service analytics tools.Collaborate with departments to define KPIs and data-driven performance frameworks.Data Governance, Quality & Compliance
Establish and enforce governance policies, taxonomies, naming conventions, and metadata standards.Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and security protocols (e.g., GDPR, ISO).Implement master data management and data lineage tracking.Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership
Serve as a data advisor to executive leadership and functional heads.Translate business goals into technical data initiatives and vice versa.Champion a culture of data ownership, literacy, and transparency across UAS.Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead and grow a cross-functional data team including data engineers, analysts, and reporting specialists.Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.Build a resilient unit with clear processes, SLAs, and operational excellence.Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s in data science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.8+ years of experience in data architecture, analytics, or enterprise data leadership.Proven ability to lead teams and drive cross-functional data initiatives.Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, SQL Server), ETL tools (e.g., dbt, Fivetran), and BI systems (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).Strong understanding of system integration and enterprise data ecosystems.Key Competencies
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.Deep knowledge of aviation, logistics, or complex operational environments is a plus.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.J-18808-Ljbffr
