About the Role :
As a Junior Chemist, you’ll play a key role in bringing innovative coating solutions to life!
Working alongside experienced chemists, you’ll contribute to the development, testing, and optimization of high-performance protective and decorative coatings for a wide range of industrial applications.

- Assist in formulating and refining coatings systems (epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic, hybrid,
- Perform lab testing and analysis to ensure quality, durability, and performance
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and help craft solutions that meet customer needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and technical support, to deliver exceptional results

Key Responsibilities
Assist in formulating and modifying coatings (. epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic, hybrid systems) to meet product specifications.Perform laboratory tests to evaluate physical and chemical properties (. viscosity, adhesion, gloss, hardness, corrosion resistance, curing profile).Support application trials and prepare test panels for internal and customer testing.Accurately document formulations, test results, and observations in lab notebooks and reports.Maintain laboratory equipment, follow safety protocols, and ensure good housekeeping in the lab.Collaborate with senior chemists, production, and quality teams on scale-up and troubleshooting.Stay updated on new raw materials, technologies, and industry trends related to industrial coatings.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline. (Candidates without above qualifications but with more than 5 years hands on experience and exposure to the industrial coatings industry will also be considered)Basic understanding of polymer chemistry, coatings formulation, or paint technology.Familiarity with laboratory equipment and basic testing protocols (. viscosity measurement, adhesion, hardness, corrosion resistance).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills (written and verbal).Preferred Qualifications
Work experience in industrial coatings, paints, or surface treatments.Knowledge of industrial standards (ASTM, ISO) relevant to coatings.Hands-on experience with formulation or testing of coatings products.Primary Job Location
