Job Overview
The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes for a premium service company, 37 employees, based in Sharjah (SAIF Zone). This role is responsible for supporting business needs and ensuring the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives through effective HR management and compliance with UAE labor laws. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the company culture, managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process : job postings, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding
- Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs and workforce planning
- Ensure all new hires comply with free zone and UAE labor requirements
Employee Relations & Compliance
Serve as the main point of contact for all employee relations issues, grievances, and conflict resolutionEnsure compliance with UAE labor laws and SAIF Zone regulations; manage visa, work permit, and other documentation processesMaintain employee records in line with regulatory requirements and data privacy standardsHR Policy & Process Management
Develop, implement, and regularly update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbookAdvise management on HR best practices and policy changesPerformance Management & Training
Lead annual performance appraisal cycles and implement performance improvement plans as neededIdentify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiativesCompensation & Benefits
Administer payroll, benefits, leave management, and other compensation activities accurately and on timeBenchmark compensation structures in line with industry standards and free zone practicesCulture & Employee Engagement

MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification (preferably in Human Resources)Minimum 5 years experience in a similar HR Manager role within the UAE (premium service industry preferred)Proven experience working within a UAE free zone; SAIF Zone experience highly desirableStrong knowledge of UAE labor law and free zone regulationsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficient in MS Office; experience with HRIS systems is an advantageHigh level of integrity and ability to handle confidential informationReporting Line
